DAY 3 (Sunday, 17th May) highlights: Advanced clinical management, AI in Optometry & Farewell
The final day opens with specialized techniques to measure functional vision and quality of life and continues with a strong focus on advanced clinical management for keratoconus, myopia, and intermittent exotropia. Simultaneously, Rapid Fire Session VI (Quality of Life and Public Health) will explore topics from psychosocial outcomes to building inclusive eye care services. Rapid Fire Session VII (Dry Eye Disease) will get you updated on the new TFOS DEWS III diagnostic criteria, screening for dry eye disease prior to cataract surgery, and much more!
The midday program highlights the intersection of technology and practice with a forward-looking talk on AI as a partner in optometric care, held alongside Rapid Fire Session VIII (Vision Assessment and Myopia) where VR-based vision aids and critical links between visual functions and road traffic accidents will be explored alongside myopia progression and management.
During coffee breaks and lunch, we invite you to explore the poster presentations and engage with the exhibition showcased by our sponsors. Afterwards, expand your therapeutic toolkit knowledge for ocular surface disease or join the final Rapid Fire Session IX (Anterior Eye) for technical updates covering anterior segment structure and function, OCT-based imaging in irregular corneas, and the role of clinical expertise and patient relationships in managing keratoconus.
The final conference day will conclude with the Closing Ceremony at 14:30, featuring the Poster Awards and Photo Prize! Along with the farewell, this will be the perfect moment to celebrate our shared learning and annual gathering before heading home!
